With such an abundant list, we’re left wondering, “Is there anything MBM doesn’t do?” With their latest addition to the lineup, we can add “Air Purifiers” to that list. Since you spend 8 hours a day in the office and the rest of them at home, shouldn’t you invest in the air that you breathe in? Just as you take expert care of your sensitive documents and files when destroying them, it’s just as important to take care of your lungs that breathe in the fine dust from those machines. The Ideal air purifiers are the newest line of products from MBM that you need in your home, office and workplace. The air that you breathe in your home and office  is directly related to your well being. It’s a known fact that healthy employees take less sick time. Fine dust, pollen, allergens, viruses, bacteria, mold spores, pet dander, cigarette smoke, and even chemical fumes and odors are all lurking in the air that you breathe. Clean air helps you feel better and work better, but it’s also hard to find in a crowded office with other employees sharing the same spaces as you. You may be thinking that these air purifiers are only ideal for the home and corporate office. In reality, there are many more places that these machines are beneficial. Think of high-germ areas such as schools, daycares, hospitals, retirement homes, and anywhere where there might be a lot of people with compromised, or immature immune systems as they are especially susceptible to the illnesses caused by these pollutants. The new line of Ideal Air Purifiers were designed with ionic technology specifically for improving the air quality inside the home and workplace.. Along with drawing out the impurities that would otherwise be going into your lungs, the purifiers also enhance the air with negative ions, which increase the oxygen content of your blood and improve your mood. This simple and natural way of improving the quality of the air in your home or office will help you feel and perform better. How Do They Work? [caption id="attachment_4861" align="alignleft" width="199"]ap15 ap30 ap45 ideal mbm air purifier The AP15, AP30, and AP45 all look like this with different dimensions.[/caption] The Air Purifier line all feature a pre-filter which remove the larger particles such as dust, and pet hair from the air. This also helos extend the life of the subsequent filters.  Next, the air goes through a HEPA filter which removes 99.7% of small particles and fine dust such as pollen, viruses, bacteria, mites, and other allergens. The filtered air is then sent once more through an activated carbon filter which absorbs unpleasant odors like tobacco smoke.  The AP40 and AP100 purifiers go through the CleanCel filter which inhibit the growth of microbes and pathogens. Lastly, the AP100 model goes through one last MedShield filter which removes pathogen viruses, bacteria, and mold spores from the air. Features All air purifiers are UL, CE and Energy Star approved.  They also all come with low maintenance HEPA filters. There is no need to wash, vacuum or clean the filters. They only need to be replaced every 12 months.  The AP 15, 30 and 45 all come with a handy remote control to make the simple operation even more convenient. It works at a distance of up to 20 feet. The AP40 and AP100 models are a little more advanced and come with WiFi and a smartphone app.  The app allows you to see real time air quality information, check the status of the filters and get alerts when to replace them, receive notifications when there are errors such as door open, fan malfunctions, and sensors, turn the purifier on or off, change the fan speed and set a schedule.  The app works with 3G, LTE and WiFi connections. Unlike the 15, 30, and 45, the 40 and 100 models boast a MedShield coated antimicrobial filter.  Along with the Apple and Samsung smartphone app, the ability to operate the AP100 machine can also be done on the 4-inch LCD touchscreen. This touchscreen displays local weather, fine dust pollution, and temperature of the selected area. The indoor air condition is centrally displayed.  It also lets you know the condition level of the filter. While the AP40 does not feature an LCD screen, it does come with a high quality touch control that allows you to turn the machine on and off, toggle between manual and automatic mode, set a timer for 1, 4, or 8 hours, turn on and off the PlasmaWave filter, turn the child security lock on or off, and a filter reset button.  It also comes with a three color LED light code to indicate the air quality. CleanCel, PlasmaWave, MedShield: What Do These Mean? What is CleanCel? The plastic material of the air routing parts and the prefilter are equipped with an additive based on silver ion technology called CleanCel. This technology inhibits the growth of bacteria, fungi and acarids. Furthermore, bacterial contamination with Escherichia coli, Staphylococcus aureus and Salmonella enteridis is inhibited. PlasmaWave produces positive and negative ions in an optimal ratio that form hydroxyles together with hydrogen from the humid air. These hydroxyles neutralize and destroy viruses such as influenza viruses, bacteria, chemical compounds, poisons and odors at the molecular level. PlasmaWave cleans indoor air in the same manner as nature cleans the air. PlasmaWave is certified as being free of ozone. The antibacterial MedShield coating of the PM2.5 filter for removing 99.9% of the pathogen viruses, bacteria and mold spores from the air.
