Description of the Formax FD 6404-Standard 5F Folder Inserter
This five station Formax FD 6404-Standard 5F inserter is equipped with 4 Standard Feeders and 1 High Capacity Document Feeder. Featuring a full-color touchscreen control panel, the 6404 is easy to setup and operate. With a few simple steps, your project is setup and ready to go. Formax's standard AutoSet automatically detects lengths and sizes before configuring proper settings for your project. Five different fold types are available: C, Half, Z, Double Parallel and no fold. The high-capacity document feeder accommodates up to 725 sheets at a time. Each standard feeder holds 325 sheets. With such an incredible capacity, the 6404 guarantees efficiency and a high output. In one hour, the 6404-Standard 5F processes 4,000 pieces. Unlike smaller inserters, the 6404 provides a large reverse-output power stacker which holds up to 500 completed envelopes. The energy-saving mode allows you to walk away from the machine without worry that it will overheat. The powerful system folds up to 10 sheets in half-fold and up to 8 sheets in tri-fold mode.
