The easy-to-use control panel features push buttons for forward, stop, and reverse. Should a paper jam occur, the Destroyit 5009 will automatically switch into reverse and re-feed your materials. The safety lock and key, main switch, and stop button are all conveniently located for any emergency. As an added bonus, the Destroyit 5009 offers an electronically secured safety guard. The high quality, German-made cutting head tears apart your materials and produces 1/2" x 2" particles. The dual 3 phase motors can really go with a 24 maximum horsepower, and they are rated for continuous operation.

Two speeds are available: "Power" for bulk feeding of large amounts and "Speed" for more quickly shredding lower quantities. This industrial shredder is undeniably hefty, weighing over 3,000 lbs.
