With its compact size (13-3/8" x 11-5/8" x 6"), the 1400 Pelican Case still offers some of the excellent features that make its larger cousins such solid investments. This case features the same waterproof and crush proof design that Pelican cases are known for, and it too has a lifetime guarantee.

The case is crafted of an open cell structural foam core with solid wall. Weighing less than 5 lbs., it is lightweight as well as durable. It features a 1/4" O-ring seal in the lid and an automatic pressure equalization valve, which provide watertight protection to give another level of performance to the case.

The large interior of this case (11-1/2" x 8-7/8" x 5-1/8") provides further benefits by coming equipped with the popular Pick-N-Pluck foam cube material. This provides a "make your own" interior that will hold and protect any sort of item. This works because the foam is precut and allows segments to be removed to accommodate the shape and contour of the item to be placed inside. The padded foam lid also helps by gently sandwiching the contents in place. This way, no matter the movement or pressures, the contents will not shift or be damaged.
