Akiles' heavy duty modular comb opener, the CBM650 is designed to be a lightweight standalone (or paired) comb opener able to handle binding thicknesses from 3/16" up to 2" and lengths up to 14". The CBM650 weighs only 13lbs. Place this lightweight comb opener anywhere in the office, users can even mount the CBM650 on Akiles machines, such as the CombMac-24E, DuoMac and VersaMac for a complete punch and bind machine. Whether you are left or right-handed, the CBM650 will adjust to your needs. Attach the opener handle to either the left or right side for preferred use, maximizing comfort and efficiency when binding. The CBM650 has an all-metal construction for durability and performance.
