The DuoMac 321 by Akiles gives you the flexibility to produce wire bound documents in 2 pitches with just one machine. Two separate punching dies produce 2:1 or 3:1 pitch wire bound documents. Wire binding is a great choice for reports, catalogs, presentations, calendars or any item that needs to lay flat when opened. 3:1 pitch wire works best with smaller documents while 2:1 pitch is the best choice for larger items. The DuoMac 321 gives you the freedom to do both with one space saving machine.

All it takes are a few simple steps to create a professionally bound book. Begin by measuring your documents in the built in paper scale to determine the correct wire size to use. Once you've chosen the wire, set the wire closer to the selected size and place the wire in convenient wire holder. You can now begin punching your documents, use the front punch for 3:1 and the back punch for 2:1 pitch. With the DuoMac 321 you can punch up to 20 sheets at one time. Each punching die has fully disengageable pins as well as a side and depth margin control for perfectly centered punches every time. Insert your punched documents onto the wire, when finished take your book and place the open end of the wire face down in the wire closer. Pull the handle to close and you're done.
