Description of the DuoMac-C41 ECI

With the DuoMac-C41 ECI, you have the choice between both coil and comb binding, all in one machine. The 4:1 pitch plastic coil and 19 hole pattern comb dies save valuable time and open endless avenues of versatility in your binding projects. Both dies come with the punch capacity of 20 sheets of 20 lb paper with a 14" open throat, which provides more freedom for over-sized documents, and a continuous punching guide. Dials for each die set allow you to adjust the depth margin accordingly, offering even more customization for your various binding needs. When choosing the comb, a document thickness gauge conveniently located on the DuoMac-C41 ECI helps you figure out the perfect size to use, and a master selector determines the correct wire diameter, closing position, depth margin, and wire pitch. Fully disengageable pins allow you to pick which holes to punch, adding even more versatility to your punching and binding projects. An additional diameter scale measures a document's thickness in order to choose the best wire or comb size.

The DuoMac-C41 ECI features a wire holder which makes for a stable insertion of sheets in preparation for binding operation. The vertical wire closer is operated with an individual wire closer handle, Another handle is designated for comb opening. This model comes with a set of coil crimpers and a comb spreader, completely free of charge. Electric coil inserter sold separately.
