But it's hardened steel dies and U-shaped handle can also punch through PVC, polyester, and various hard to punch materials cleanly and easily.

The compact RubiCoil weighs only 16 lbs., but don't let its small size fool you. The RubiCoil is built to last with a sturdy metal chassis. There is a side margin guide and the hole punch pattern is even printed on the front to help you properly align the paper before you punch. Also included is a built in waste drawer to catch all the punch chips so there's never any mess. After punching, use the inserting table channel for fast, easy coil insertion.
