Description of the Ameri-Shred AMS-300 Cross Cut Industrial Shredder
Known for their custom designs and advanced developments, the Ameri-Shred Corp is a leader in industrial shredding and destruction. The first in Ameri-Shred's Series 1 of cross cut shredders, the AMS-300CC offers power and reliability for destroying high volumes of materials. The wide, 16" infeed conveyor accommodates objects in a range of shapes and sizes, including paper, plastic, corrugated boxes, and so much more. Need to destroy hundreds of credits cards or CDs in a short amount of time? How about multiple pieces of cardboard? The Ameri Shred AMS300 cross cut unit tackles between 250-600 lbs. per hour depending upon cut size. Specifically, when shredding materials into 1/8" x 5/8" cross cut particles, the AMS-300 handles between 250-450 lbs. each hour. The AMS-300 destroys 300-550 lbs. when producing 1/8" x 1-1/2" pieces. Finally, for high volume projects, this unit reduces your materials into ¼" x 1-7/8" particles, resulting in the destruction of up to 600 lbs. every hour. For a smoother transition in operation, the user may opt to install the output conveyor or the bag holder.
The rugged, all-steel construction guarantees that this shredder will last for years without fail. Precision ground, A-2 steel cutters break down some of the toughest materials, including mass amounts of paper, cardboard, VHS tapes, and more. Auto lubrication is available, which helps keep this shredder running in peak condition. The Ameri-Shred AMS-300 is available in 208, 230, or 460 volt, as well as 1 or 3 phase. Please note, capacities significantly decrease when operating on 1 phase. The spacious area at the front of the machine allows for storage of paper or other materials before placing them on the conveyor. The AMS-300 weighs in at a hefty 1600 lbs., and offers dimensions of 59" L x 36" W x 47.5" H. Sturdy mobility casters make it relatively easy to relocate this monster of a machine around your warehouse or production area.
