The AMS-3000 is the third in Ameri-Shred's Series 3 of strip cut shredders. These medium duty industrial shredders handle surprising volumes and paired with an efficient design, the AMS-3000 delivers impressive results. The 20" W x 71.5" L input conveyor partnered with the extra large feeding table allows the user to load high volumes of materials at once. The optional output conveyor provides a smooth transition and speeds up production. When matched with the T-3 box dumper and baler, the Ameri Shred AMS-3000 maximizes efficiency for high volume document destruction and recycling.

A 30 HP motor proves the AMS-3000's power and potential. Tearing through 2,600-5,000 lbs. of material every hour, this medium duty industrial shredder is available in four shred sizes. Shredding material into 5/16" results in 2,600-3,250 lbs. destroyed and 3/8" strips results in 2,800-3,500 lbs. every hour. For higher volumes, the larger 1/2" strip results in 3,600-4,500 lbs., while the 5/8" strip yields a capacity of 4,000-5,000 lbs. destroyed in one hour. Regardless of which shred size you choose, the Amer-Shred AMS-3000 will destroy about 100 feet per minute.

Proper maintenance is the key to keeping this industrial shredder running in optimal condition. While the spur gears run in an oil bath, an oiling system automatically lubricates the cutters. The design of this unit makes for quick and easy maintenance, and promises the highest level of safety. At its core is the technologically advanced, fine tuned cutter assembly with self-sharpening, A-2 steel cutters and positive sawtooth grip. These precision ground cutters are designed to shred through some of the toughest materials, including thick stacks of computer printouts and letterhead, phone books, and much more. Sturdy mobility casters make it easier and quicker to move this 5,000 lb. AMS-3000 around your warehouse or production area.
