Unlike its Series 1 and Series 2 predecessors, the Series 3 industrial shredders offer four different shred widths. Your once solid materials are reduced to 5/16" , 3/8" , 1/2", or 5/8" strips. Throughput depends highly upon the shred size selected. The larger the strip size, the greater the shredding capacity. For the highest volume, the AMS-4000 breaks materials down into 5/8" strips, resulting in between 5,000-6,000 lbs. destroyed each hour. Load materials onto the large 20" W x 71.5" L infeed conveyor, and watch as they enter the cutting chamber. While the output conveyor is optional, this additional unit drastically speeds up operation.
