Description of the Datastroyer 1215 MS High Security Shredder
The Datastroyer 1215 MS high security paper shredder is listed on the NSA/CSS Evaluated Products List for Paper Shredders. The 1215 MS comes standard with an automatic oiler to help consistently maintain the life of the cutting head and keep it in peak condition.
With its optimized cutting technology, this high security shredder can shred up to 12 documents at once with a full 12” feed opening. The confetti-like paper shreds will fall into the 32 gallon waste bin that is very easy to empty. The 1215 MS comes equipped with a cutting cylinder made of 100% solid steel to ensure high cutting capacity and wear-resistant solid steel cutting rollers.
With easy to operate controls, the 1215 MS has an automatic start/stop function and paper feed with overload protection to reduce paper jams.
The 1215 MS operates with a continuous duty thermally protected motor and a cabinet on casters that can be conveniently moved around the office.

Q: We may be ordering the Datastroyer 1215 MS High Security Shredder with auto oiler and was would like to know if the shredder comes with a bottle of oil or do we need to order some with the machine?
It will include one small bottle of oil at no charge. It's not much, and it may only last you for a day or two at best. When you have an automatic oiler the most cost effective way to purchase shredder oil is by the gallon - take a look at the SLO5G and SLO5G-2 products codes. That shredder oil will do the trick for you.
Q: Does this Shredder destroy CDs and DVDs?
This shredder is NSA approved strictly for paper - it is not on the NSA EPL for any other type of media. There are very few high security shredders on the market today capable of tolerating paper, CD's, and DVD's, and they are all much more expensive.
