Description of the Destroyit 2265 Cross Cut Shredder

The Destroyit 2265 cross cut shredder provides both security and convenience. This compact shredder weighs only 27 lbs. and at 21" high, it's perfect for deskside use. It's capable of handling up to 6 sheets at a time, and it's powerful enough to handle an occasional staple or paper clip. Paper is shredded into particles 1/8" x 1" in size, meeting level 3/P4 security requirements.  

The 2265 has the Easy-Touch multifunction switch which makes operation simple by controlling all basic shredder functions such as stand-by, off and reverse with just one button. It also features auto start / stop that's photo cell controlled, plus a magnetic switch that stops the shredder if the 5 gallon shred bin has been removed.
Another energy saving feature is the zero energy standby mode which cuts all energy to the shredder after 30 min of inactivity. Beyond the basic features, the 2265 has a quiet, energy saving single phase motor and long lasting hardened steel cutting shafts that are guaranteed for life. It all comes housed in a sturdy wooden cabinet.
