Flexible and resourceful, the Destroyit 2270 offers two separate cutting heads with separate feed openings, one for paper and one for CDs and credit cards. The 2270 cross cut also handles everyday office materials, such as staples and paper clips. The hardened steel cutting shaft is covered under MBM's lifetime warranty, though they are made to last forever. The dust-proof housing protects the shredder gears to prevent damage or rusting.

Operation of the Destroyit 2270 is controlled by the three-position rocker switch conveniently located on the top of the shredder. Photo cells in the feed opening automatically sense paper being fed and commence operation. This multifunctional switch features a pilot light for stand-by, stop, and reverse mode.
