The 8502 is loaded with features that make it not only easy to use but easy to maintain. Starting with the extra wide 16" feed opening which can handle up to 22 sheets at one time and the continuous duty motor that shreds 33 feet per minute. The Auto On / Off begins operation as soon as paper is detected. Paper jams are easily avoided with the Auto Reverse and Auto Cleaning features. The built in Oil Indicator LED flashes after every 4 hours of use to remind the user to oil the cutting blades. There are also safety features like the Auto Sensor and the Door Safety Sensor which will automatically shut down the motor if the waste bin is full or if the cabinet door is opened. If service is needed the built in Self Diagnosis System provides the technician with the history of usage including volume of paper shredded and number of auto reverse cycles.
