Description of the Formax AP2 Digital Address Printer
The Formax AP2 Monochrome Digital Address Printer has it all, speed, ease of use, and durability in a compact, tabletop printer. Load up to 500 #10 envelopes into its integrated feeder and the AP2 will print at a speed of up to 22,000 envelopes an hour. A large 4.5” color touchscreen with adjustable backlight gives users full control of all functions. A 16GB memory will store and recall commonly used print settings. A batch / job /lifetime counter keeps track of all addressed pieces. An on screen ink-monitor shows the percentage of ink used and approximately how many pieces remain.
The AP2 prints on a variety of coated and uncoated stocks. It prints using 4 thermal inkjet cartridges to print an image that is 2”H x 15”L with a resolution of up to 600 dpi. It is True-Type enabled and will print any True-Type font installed on a PC. Also available are inkjet cartridges formulated for UV coated, non-coated, quick-drying, color and invisible security inks.
