This guillotine cutter offers a top-loading feed system, and is designed to process forms generated from a digital printer. Speed and accuracy defines the Formax FD 574 Cut-Sheet Cutter. The FD 574 processes up to 2,640 sheets per hour and up to 44 forms per minute. With a cutting accuracy of +/- 0.5, this cut-sheet cutter accepts form sizes from 4.17" x 4.33" up to 14.34" x 18". Six common pre-programmed cuts are available, including 8.5" into 1-3 even cuts, 11" into 1-4 even cuts, 14" into 1-5 even cuts, 11" x 17" into 1-7 even cuts, 12" x 18" into 2-up, or 8.5" x 11" with the optional slitter. One hundred programmable memory jobs are also available for custom cutting operations. For efficient operation, the feed tray holds up to 500 sheets at a time (64gsm), while the stacker accommodates up to 800 sheets at once (64gsm).

Ease-of-use is key with any machine, and the FD 574 is no different. This unit automatically measures your sheet and sets cutting positions accordingly. The user-friendly control panel displays operation status, and features a test, start/stop, clear/return, and menu button.
