Description of the Formax FD 8302 Cross Cut

The Formax FD 8302 cross cut shredder may be compact in size but inside this desk-side unit are powerful, commercial grade components. The heat-treated steel cutting blades and heavy duty AC-geared motor are surrounded by a sturdy, all-metal cabinet with built-in casters. This powerful Level 4 shredder is packed with features including Auto Start/Stop that is optical sensor controlled, and auto reverse which switches the motor into reverse in case of paper jams. Other safety features include a door safety sensor which stops the motor if the cabinet door is opened, thermal overload protection, a safety circuit breaker and built in auto stop if the waste bin is full.
