Description of the FlashGuard 13R6 Laminator

The FlashGuard 13R6 Heavy-Duty Laminator is ideal for print shops, schools, and corporate offices. With a rugged metal housing and user-friendly features, it easily laminates and protects photos, documents, signs, menus, IDs, and more.

The 13R6 features 6 heavy-duty rollers for fast, reliable sealing: 4 heat rollers and 2 cooling rollers. The all-metal housing is durable and stays cool to the touch, thanks to the special internal cooling system. For ideal laminating, the variable temperature control goes up to 320 degrees F (160 degrees C). For temperature sensitive documents, users can choose the cold lamination function, which seals specially-designed pressure sensitive laminating pouches. Each laminator ships with a starter pack of 20 FG-3 premium 3 mil laminating pouches.

Operation is simple using the intuitive graphics-based LCD control panel: simply set the temperature and speed to match the laminating pouch and document thickness. The control panel features graphic indicators for hot/cold mode, speed, temperature, cooling fan, and roller operation, as well the ability to store up to 2 custom settings for frequently run projects.

The 13R6 handles pouches up to 13” wide, up to 14 mil, with a maximum laminating thickness of up to 3mm. Formax offers 3 mil and 5 mil laminating pouches for standard letter size 8.5” x 11” projects. With an operating speed of up to 55 inches per minute, users can complete projects in a flash.

A handy speed/temperature chart is printed on the top of the laminator for quick reference. Other useful features include a reverse button to clear jams, and a dedicated cool-down cycle to prevent damage to the heated rollers.

For protecting and preserving documents, photos, menus and more, the FlashGuard 13R6 is a durable, affordable, high-quality solution.
