Description of the HSM Pure 740 Strip Cut Shredder
Part of the new Pure line from HSM, the Pure 740 is the ideal shredder for medium to large scale use in the office, intended for 6-11 users. This unit boasts a very powerful motor which allows for continuous operation in which it can shred multiple pages, paperclips, and staples. It features HSM's famous "Made in Germany" standard, so you know that you are receiving a top of the line machine, made with the best materials. This shredder features the perfect aspects to keep front and center in your office. It comes with a 38.3 gallon volume shred-bin, so it can be used by multiple users, and also features a quiet operation which makes it the perfect contender for the central spot in your office. The 740 is also mobile on casters so you can move it as needed. This machine meets security level P-2 which shreds your materials into 1/4" strip cut pieces. It works at an astounding 17 feet/min and has a throat opening of 15.7" so it can accommodate all of your necessary medias. HSM Pure (Models 420, 530, 630, 740, 830, 940) – Office/Large Office/Department Shredders
Parts and labor to repair any failure caused by defect is limited to two (2) years from date of invoice. Strip and Cross Cut Cutting Rollers are warranted to be free of manufacturer defects for the life of the shredder from the date of invoice.
In all cases, the final authority in determining cutting system defects lies with the manufacturer. All cutting systems must be returned to the manufacturer.
Level 5 and High Security Level 6 Shredders
Parts & labor to repair any failure caused by defect is limited to three (3) years from date of invoice. Cutting Rollers on all high security units that have an oiler installed are warranted to be free of manufacturer defects for five (5) years from date of invoice. Failure to lubricate these machines properly will void the warranty. Cutting Rollers on High Security Shredders purchased without an oiler are warranted for one (1) year.
HSM Standard Warranty
HSM warrants that any new products sold will be free from defects in material and workmanship when used under specified and normal operating conditions. This warranty is void if repairs are necessitated by accidents, misuse, abuse, water damage or fire. Please read the Manufacturer’s Operating Instructions, included with the product, prior to operation, to help ensure all precautions are taken to avoid canceling the manufacturer’s warranty. Modifications, alterations and repairs must be performed by an authorized technician. Lubrication for cross-cut shredders is required every fifteen to thirty minutes of operation, to maintain top working condition and this warranty.
