Description of the HSM Pure 830 Strip Cut Shredder
The Pure 830 shredder is the largest model in the Pure line by HSM. The strip-cut version stands out with its many features and specifications. This model measures in at 37.5" H x 22.7" W x 21.5" D and weighs 148 lbs. It is large enough to provide use for 6-11 employees, but also small enough to fit in the corner of any home or office. The 830 features a high powered continuous use motor which can be used to shred multiple pages, paper clips, staples, envelopes, CDs and DVDs at a speedy rate of 19.5 ft/min. The 830 features HSM's famous "Made in Germany" quality. It's made with the highest quality materials, ensuring that this machine will be part of your office for a long time. The cutting rollers are made of hardened solid steel and come with a lifetime warranty. Just like the other Pure strip cut models, the 840 shreds materials to level P-2 standards. This shredder will destroy materials to 1/8" cutting size. It has a 2.8 hp motor and 115 voltage, which allows it to be plugged into any standard wall outlet. HSM Pure (Models 420, 530, 630, 740, 830, 940) – Office/Large Office/Department Shredders
Parts and labor to repair any failure caused by defect is limited to two (2) years from date of invoice. Strip and Cross Cut Cutting Rollers are warranted to be free of manufacturer defects for the life of the shredder from the date of invoice.
In all cases, the final authority in determining cutting system defects lies with the manufacturer. All cutting systems must be returned to the manufacturer.
Level 5 and High Security Level 6 Shredders
Parts & labor to repair any failure caused by defect is limited to three (3) years from date of invoice. Cutting Rollers on all high security units that have an oiler installed are warranted to be free of manufacturer defects for five (5) years from date of invoice. Failure to lubricate these machines properly will void the warranty. Cutting Rollers on High Security Shredders purchased without an oiler are warranted for one (1) year.
HSM Standard Warranty
HSM warrants that any new products sold will be free from defects in material and workmanship when used under specified and normal operating conditions. This warranty is void if repairs are necessitated by accidents, misuse, abuse, water damage or fire. Please read the Manufacturer’s Operating Instructions, included with the product, prior to operation, to help ensure all precautions are taken to avoid canceling the manufacturer’s warranty. Modifications, alterations and repairs must be performed by an authorized technician. Lubrication for cross-cut shredders is required every fifteen to thirty minutes of operation, to maintain top working condition and this warranty.
