Level 3/P-4 cross cut shredders meets the security requirements of many businesses, offices, and departments. The HSM Securio P36i cross cut shredder offers an impressive sheet capacity and breaks down documents into a secure 3/16" x 1 1/8" particle size. While this Securio handles up to 31 sheets at a time, users are cautioned not to overfeed this unit. If a jam occurs, a light will appear on the multifunctional operation button. Furthermore, JamStop Anti-Jam technology helps to fight potential overloads by switching the shredder into reverse mode to rectify the jam. The multifunctional button also features icons for door open, bin full, metal detection, button lock, and more.
The solid steel cutting cylinder is tough enough to destroy not only paper, but also staples, paper clips, CDs, DVDs, credit cards, and even floppy disks. In addition, the HSM Securio P36i offers not one but two slots: one for paper and one for media. By feeding paper and media (CD/DVDs and credit cards) independently, residue is kept separated for easier waste disposal. The Securio P36i offers a smaller individual container for plastic residue. The cross cut paper pieces fall into the reusable and removable 38 gallon shred bag. This bag fits conveniently on a simple pull-out frame, ideal for quick removal and disposal.
Users can run this shredder continually thanks to the powerful continuous duty motor- no downtime required! When there is downtime, the Securio will eventually enter stand-by mode. The Energy Management Control System activates to reduce power consumption by up to 90%. To reactivate the shredder simply press the power button on the multifunctional control or simply begin feeding paper. Busy offices have nothing to worry about when it comes to noisy operation. With Whisper Shred technology, noise levels are reduced significantly during operation.

HSM Securio (Models AF150, AF300, AF500, B22, B24, B26, B32, B34, B35, P36i, P40i, P44i) – Office / Large Office / Department Shredders
Parts and labor to repair any failure caused by defect is limited to three (3) years from date of invoice. Strip and Cross Cut Cutting Rollers are warranted to be free of manufacturer defects for the life of the shredder from the date of invoice.
Level 5 and High Security Level 6 Shredders
Parts & labor to repair any failure caused by defect is limited to three (3) years from date of invoice. Cutting Rollers on all high security units that have an oiler installed are warranted to be free of manufacturer defects for five (5) years from date of invoice. Failure to lubricate these machines properly will void the warranty. Cutting Rollers on High Security Shredders purchased without an oiler are warranted for one (1) year.
HSM Standard Warranty
HSM warrants that any new products sold will be free from defects in material and workmanship when used under specified and normal operating conditions. This warranty is void if repairs are necessitated by accidents, misuse, abuse, water damage or fire. Please read the Manufacturer’s Operating Instructions, included with the product, prior to operation, to help ensure all precautions are taken to avoid canceling the manufacturer’s warranty. Modifications, alterations and repairs must be performed by an authorized technician. Lubrication for cross-cut shredders is required every fifteen to thirty minutes of operation, to maintain top working condition and this warranty.
In all cases, the final authority in determining cutting system defects lies with the manufacturer. All cutting systems must be returned to the manufacturer.
