Description of HSM Securio P36i L6 High Security Shredder

Made in Germany, the HSM Securio P36i Level 6/P-7 High Security Shredder is NSA approved and TAA Compliant. Capable of destroying up to 14 sheets at a time with a shred speed of 7 feet/min, the Securio P36i breaks down highly confidential documents into small 1/32" x 3/16" particles. One piece of paper shred yields up to 12,065 confetti cut particles! The multifunctional operation button is the main control and display unit for this shredder. Need to know why operation suddenly stopped? Check this display unit, which features icons for several issues, including paper jam, bag full, door open, oil reservoir empty, and more!

The 100% solid steel cutting cylinder rips through your documents without a problem. However, like any typical high security shredder, the HSM Securio P36i will only accept paper. Staples or paperclips will cause serious damage to the cutting head. In addition, failure to follow the suggested sheet capacity may lead to paper jams and other problems. If a jam occurs, the shredder will automatically switch into reverse mode (JamStop Anti-Jam) technology. The unit will continue to run in reverse until the jam is repaired. One way to keep this shredder running in top condition is to frequently oil the cutting rollers. The HSM Securio P36i high security model actually comes equipped with an automatic oiling system, which lubricates the cutting cylinder during the shredding process. No manual oiling required!

In busy offices, occasionally operators may forget to shut the shredder off after use. This shredder will switch into a low power stand-by mode after a period of inactivity. The EMCS (Energy Management Control System) reduces energy consumption in stand-by mode by up to 90%. The 150 lb. HSM Securio P36i is large enough to support entire departments and office floors. Although large, the cabinet is mounted on sturdy mobility casters, which allow for easier movement throughout your office. This cabinet houses a 38 gallon waste bag and convenient pull-out frame. The HSM Securio P36i Level 6/P-7 ensures data security in a quality package.

HSM Securio (Models AF150, AF300, AF500, B22, B24, B26, B32, B34, B35, P36i, P40i, P44i) – Office / Large Office / Department Shredders

Parts and labor to repair any failure caused by defect is limited to three (3) years from date of invoice. Strip and Cross Cut Cutting Rollers are warranted to be free of manufacturer defects for the life of the shredder from the date of invoice.

Level 5 and High Security Level 6 Shredders

Parts & labor to repair any failure caused by defect is limited to three (3) years from date of invoice. Cutting Rollers on all high security units that have an oiler installed are warranted to be free of manufacturer defects for five (5) years from date of invoice. Failure to lubricate these machines properly will void the warranty. Cutting Rollers on High Security Shredders purchased without an oiler are warranted for one (1) year.

HSM Standard Warranty

HSM warrants that any new products sold will be free from defects in material and workmanship when used under specified and normal operating conditions. This warranty is void if repairs are necessitated by accidents, misuse, abuse, water damage or fire. Please read the Manufacturer’s Operating Instructions, included with the product, prior to operation, to help ensure all precautions are taken to avoid canceling the manufacturer’s warranty. Modifications, alterations and repairs must be performed by an authorized technician. Lubrication for cross-cut shredders is required every fifteen to thirty minutes of operation, to maintain top working condition and this warranty.

In all cases, the final authority in determining cutting system defects lies with the manufacturer. All cutting systems must be returned to the manufacturer.
