If your business has large amounts of documents, CDs or other optical media that contain extremely sensitive information, the HSM Securio P44 High Security Optical Media Shredder is the perfect shredder for your business. The P44 Optical Media shredder can shred up to 20 documents at once, cutting each document into 12,065 confetti-like particles. What makes this shredder so powerful is its solid steel cutting cylinder. There is also a separate slot for credit cards and CDs/DVDs. The P44 will shred credit cards and CDs/DVDs into the tiniest of particles, completely destroying all the data and information on the CDs and DVDs. Those tiny particles will fall into a small bin which can be easily removed and emptied. Paper shreds fall into an ample 55 gallon waste bag that can be easily monitored thanks to the built in inspection window.
The P44 Optical Media Shredder is not only powerful, it is also very reliable. It comes equipped with JamStop Anti-Jam Technology, which prevents the P44 from paper jams. When the shredder is overloaded with documents, instead of someone having to manually fix a jam, this shredder will fix the problem for you. It will automatically switch to reverse mode until the jammed paper is forced out. Not only will you not have to fix paper jams, but you will also not even have to lubricate the cutters. The P44 comes with an automatic oiler, that will lubricate the cutters for you. So instead of dealing with shredder maintenance, you will can be more productive with your time.
The HSM Securio P44 is also a very environmentally friendly shredder. It will reduce power consumption when the shredder is in standby mode because it has an energy management control system. Compared to other shredders with the standard stand-by switch, the P44 can save up to 90% on power usage. The P44 has extremely quiet, whisper like noise levels when it is shredding documents. Not only is the motor quiet, it is also continuous. This ensures that the shredder continually shreds and requires no downtime.

HSM Securio (Models AF150, AF300, AF500, B22, B24, B26, B32, B34, B35, P36i, P40i, P44i) – Office / Large Office / Department Shredders
Parts and labor to repair any failure caused by defect is limited to three (3) years from date of invoice. Strip and Cross Cut Cutting Rollers are warranted to be free of manufacturer defects for the life of the shredder from the date of invoice.
Level 5 and High Security Level 6 Shredders
Parts & labor to repair any failure caused by defect is limited to three (3) years from date of invoice. Cutting Rollers on all high security units that have an oiler installed are warranted to be free of manufacturer defects for five (5) years from date of invoice. Failure to lubricate these machines properly will void the warranty. Cutting Rollers on High Security Shredders purchased without an oiler are warranted for one (1) year.
HSM Standard Warranty
HSM warrants that any new products sold will be free from defects in material and workmanship when used under specified and normal operating conditions. This warranty is void if repairs are necessitated by accidents, misuse, abuse, water damage or fire. Please read the Manufacturer’s Operating Instructions, included with the product, prior to operation, to help ensure all precautions are taken to avoid canceling the manufacturer’s warranty. Modifications, alterations and repairs must be performed by an authorized technician. Lubrication for cross-cut shredders is required every fifteen to thirty minutes of operation, to maintain top working condition and this warranty.
In all cases, the final authority in determining cutting system defects lies with the manufacturer. All cutting systems must be returned to the manufacturer.
