The FA 500.3 shredder combined with the KP 88.1 baler form the resourceful HSM SP 5088 combination unit. Place materials onto the spacious loading table, and watch as the powerful electric conveyor belt pulls them into the cutting unit. A multi-functional keypad control is both user-friendly and conveniently placed, and features options for continuous or reverse operation. This monster of a machine can destroy not just paper, but also three-ring binders, cardboard, chip cards, CDs, disks, and other similar materials. Accepting 200-240 sheets with an intake width of 500mm, the HSM 5088 breaks down your materials into 0.15" x 1.57" pieces. Overfeed your materials? No need to worry. The HSM 5088 detects paper jams and immediately switches into reverse until the problem is solved. The solid and sturdy gear motor features chain drive to guarantee maximum throughput capacity. Optimized technology prevents materials from passing the shredder without being destroyed. These level 3 particles fall directly into a filling hatch located in the pressing section of the unit. The baler also includes an inspection flap for separating non-confidential documents or cardboard. As your materials are pressed and baled, the manual 3-fold bale strapping system continuously runs with polyester tape to bind your finished product. Your bales can then be emptied into a plastic for easy removal. For safety purposes, an emergency stop-rail is handily located right in front of the loading table. An integrated, automatic oiler maintains your shredder, keeping the cutting unit in tip top shape.
