Q: Will the 1038 Kutrimmer cut cardboard (Davey Board or bookbinders board) that is about 1/16th inch thick? That's what I would be using this for, not so much paper. A: Paper trimmers are tested and approved exclusively on paper. We've had a lot of requests to cut things other than paper. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't work. The catch is that the manufacturer's warranty and our return policy don't cover using a machine for something other than it's intended use. There's also no telling how long the blade will last when it's not being used like it is supposed to be. So it's an at-your-own-risk type of a deal.
