The MediaVise Compact SSD now comes with a chute accessory, delivering the same quality performance but with easier disposal process. It destroys solid state drives in less than 30 seconds, including cell phones, PDAs, circuit boards, and memory cards. It delivers an amazing 40,000 lbs. force that achieves complete destruction of a solid state drive and prevents data recovery from digital media. Its steel plates are lined with 187 sharp interlocking teeth that pierce and crush both sides of the solid state drive. All flash memory storage chips contained in the drive are shattered, leaving sensitive information unreadable. And its small size makes it ideal for desktop use so you never have to travel far to destroy information.

The MediaVise Compact SSD usually holds the debris of 1-2 solid state drives in its collection bin, but the chute option eliminates the need to empty debris after every use. The chute allows seamless continuous destruction by ejecting all debris into any waste receptacle placed in front of the chute. The Compact SSD, like all other Phiston models, is fully automated with a one button function. You never need to touch any debris, manually crush drives, or leave the comfort of your desk. Designed with safety in mind, the MediaVise Compact SSD is also equipped with lock out doors that make sure the machine does not start unless all doors are closed (so no need to worry about getting clothing items or hands stuck and facing injuries).
