For flexibility, precision, and user safety, look to the Triumph 5255 digital paper cutter. As a step up from the 4850 EP, the Triumph 5255 fully automatic programmable paper cutter achieves a maximum cutting length of approximately 20 ½" and maximum cutting height of 3", making it ideal for larger format pieces. Start by loading your paper stack onto the cutting table. The optical cutting line indicates exactly where the cut will be performed for a precise cut every time. The standard keypad control module has been upgraded to a modern touchpad. Capable of storing up to 99 programs with up to 99 steps each into memory, this versatile touch pad also offers pre-programmed DIN sizes and automatic memory for repeat cuts. The multilingual electronic control module operates the power back gauge for accurate positioning of paper. For manual re-positioning, this Triumph cutter features an electronic hand wheel with infinitely variable speed control. The automatic "set" function provides reference measurement via the start button. A self-diagnostic system indicates errors on the digital display.

Equipped with the new, patented EASY-CUT blade activating bars, the Triumph 5255 introduces a new level of true two-hand operation. The blade and clamp are activated independently through these two-step blade activating bars. Separate trigger points allow the clamp to come down before the blade slices the paper stack. This two-hand operation guarantees maximum operator safety.

Like all Triumph paper cutters, the Triumph 5255 features the comprehensive Safety Cutting System (SCS). The hinged safety guard located on the front table easily swings out of the way. This transparent safety shield locks during the cutting process. Every guillotine cutter also features a clear safety cover on the rear table. Blade or stick changes can be accomplished outside of the machine, without removing any of the machine's casings. The cutting stick is simple to rotate or remove from the side of the machine. An easy-to-use blade-changing device covers the extremely sharp cutting edge of the German made, steel blade. This blade-changing device can be stored in the convenient and practical hook-in tool holder located on the back table. Other safety features include the patented IDEAL safety drive, main switch, and safety lock with key. The solid all-metal constructed Triumph 5255 is equipped with a stand, convenient storage shelf, and stacking angle.
